The original “BABY” GAGGIA was developed 25 years ago – the first pump-driven espresso machine for home use. Unlike most home espresso machines past and present, the Baby Gaggia was developed from a commercial machine mentality.

The Baby is fitted with many commercial components. It has a chrome-plated brass filter-holder (portafilter) with special commercial-styled twin spouts and a matching brass group. It's unique twin element design delivers the highest power rating in it's class for fast start-ups and superb heat distribution when matched to the all-brass brewing components.

Another  rarely-used  commercial  component  –  the 3-way solenoid valve – has the unique ability to relieve the pressure from the brewing process, diverting that pressure and excess water in the portafilter to the drip tray, yielding a solid puck that can be removed with one knock, for ease and efficiency.

The Baby's stainless steel "Pannarello" is an ideal milk-frother for making an excellent cappuccino or latte. The "Twin" even incorporates twin boilers, allowing you to instantly switch from espresso shots to steam and back, for maximum speed and simplicity.

And the stylish electronic touch ring with green backlit buttons, allows you to manage brewing, programming shot-lengths and hot water dispensing. It also has indicator lights for steam supply and boiler temperature.
