Nivola is packed with safety features: if the water reservoir is empty, a warning is given and Nivola goes into stand-by mode to prevent damage to the boiler; an electronic sensor in the boiler does not allow the machine to be operated unless the correct temperature for brewing coffee has been achieved, and when steaming milk, it waits until steam pressure is at the optimal level, then starts automatically.
